Another iPhone rumor for you folks, looks like Apple might be planning to use curved glass in the iPhone 5/4S similar to the one used in the Samsung Nexus S and Dell Venue Pro.Â
Apple has reportedly purchase more than 200 glass cutting machines since the direct purchase of curved glass would highly increase capital costs. The machines are currently stored in Apple assembly plants and will be moved as soon the yeild for curved glass rises. Apple is currently in talks with suppliers regarding cover glass, glass cutting, lamination and touch sensors to improve yields.
