Entourage Season 8 Episode 2: Out With A Bang

Episode 2 of the last reason of Entourage started off with Vince writing the first ten pages of the movie he wants Johnny to do. While the crew is happy with him being positive, E points out a lot of grammar mistakes in the script, which is an ode to even the richest people in Hollywood can’t spell, it was a funny scene. The animated cartoon series “Johnny’s Bananas” is set to be screened for testing which has the whole studio scared of the rating it’ll get. While Turtle is busy promoting Avion, he finds out that his girlfriend’s been calling his co-workers but not him. Ari gets information from Lloyd, the soon to be head of the TV department, that he saw Mrs. Gold in Ari’s favorite restaurant but he says she was alone.

A frustrated Ari, goes on another one of his power trips again and finally finds out that his wife is dating a chef. The news embarrassed him and his wife comes to his office to tell him to stay away from her life. E & Sloan finally end it completely when Sloan tells him she’s moving to New York for good. Vince gets Billy Walsh to direct Johnny’s new movie. The season has been kind of slow in terms of progress to the big finish. I didn’t see a lot of cameos either. In previous seasons, the show was filled with big names appearing in the show, last year they had Eminem appear in the last episode.

Johnny’s Bananas tests through the roof and while Johnny’s happy with it, Andrew Dice Clay isn’t. Asking Johnny to walk off the show and ask for more money. They’re really bringing down Dice’s already dead image in real life, either they’re going to show him as a good guy in the coming episodes or Dice is going to see his already lost fanbase getting even more bleak. Judging from the progress, Season 6 is still my favorite in the entire series, it was short and exciting. WE WANT MORE CAMEOS!
