Angry Birds Coming To Windows Phone 7 This May!
Microsoft today confirmed that the popular puzzle game will indeed be coming to their mobile OS platform Windows Phone 7. They announced the news at MIX11 in Las Vegas, the WP7 version will be available in the Xbox Live section of the app marketplace and feature of around 195 levels of pig smashing.
The game was first announced to be available in February but was held up by various delays. Microsoft has not announced whether the game will be add supported or would require an app store purchase, just like all the other platforms Angry Birds should be available for less than a dollar.
Microsoft also announced at the conference that they are planning to release the Windows Phone 7 ‘Mango’ update in the second half of 2011 which will feature better multitasking and faster overall performance.
