Samsung Galaxy S Gingerbread Update Now Rolling Out

Well Samsung said it was gonna release Android 2.3 Gingerbread for the highly acclaimed Galaxy S smartphone in mid-april and it did which makes us pretty satisfied. The update was released night of the 15th of April very “ninja-ly”. The update is currently available only in Nordic countries, Holland and Germany currently but rest of Europe is set to follow very soon.

The Gingerbread Android 2.3.3 update will available through Samsung’s KEIS utility so if you want to test if it’s available for your device yet just plug in your phone and run the program. The Samsung Galaxy S powered by a 1Ghz Humingbird processor and featuring a SAMOLED display has sold over 10 million units all over the world as is considered to be one of the best Android devices ever.
