After The Riddler, it was Penguin’s turn to show his face in this latest trailer for Batman: Arkham City. This trailer was shown at Comic Con 2011.

Armed with his high-tech Umbrella’s and known for his love of Birds, this Penguin surely looks like a “Gentleman of Crime”. “Danny De Vito” portrayed The Penguin in the blockbuster Batman movie by “Tim Burton” which featured “Michael Kane” as Batman and “Jack Nicholson” as The Joker.

Gamespot exclusively revealed this Penguin trailer which shows Batman sneaking around trying to find Penguin meanwhile Penguin is taking care of his business along with his goons in what appears to be some sort of Prison. He is also killing cops who have “Dead Cop” written on their chest, there is also some sort of monster or perhaps some character from comics who is chained to the walls and seems to attack Batman. EA’s different studios from all around the globe have managed to put up more than a million dollar to donate to the recent destruction in Japan caused by the earthquake. EA’s employees have been very busy collecting money for donation.  Various games, DLC’s and gears where being sold or auctioned to help the people of Japan.

People at Canada Burnaby Campus packed 100,000 meals and sent them to the affected areas of Japan. If you too are feeling generous or helpful you can donate by following this link (Red cross).

Apple released BETA 4 for iOS 5 yesterday and it introduces a lot of speed improvements and bug fixes. If you want to download iOS 5 BETA 4 but don’t have a developer account click here, click here to download iTunes 10.5 BETA 4 which is compulsory for installing iOS 5 BETA 4 and finally if you want to know how to install the new firmware itself click here.

Redsn0w one of the best Jailbreak tools available has been updated once again to support iOS 5 BETA 4. MuscleNerd a member of the iPhone Dev Team had the following to say:

The 5.0b4 OTA update won’t work on JB devices due to an explicit check of /Applications..almost like a present from Apple

NOTE: It appears that by design, the OTA update that became available starting with iOS 5 beta4 will *not* be automatically applied to jailbroken devices.  That’s a relief to those who don’t want to lose their jailbreak via OTA pushes.  If you’re jailbroken, you’ll need to use the standard iTunes method to get to iOS 5 beta4.

So basically if you jailbreak your device it won’t be able to get OTA (over the air) updates in the future. Download links are below:

Apple has just release iOS 4.3.5 for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1, iPad 2, iPod Touch 3G and iPod Touch 4G just ten days after the previous iOS 4.3.4 release. The update seems to fix a very critical issue.

The iOS 4.3.5 changelog had the following to say:

A security issue has been resolved with certificate verification.

What could this mean? We don’t know. We would recommend staying far away from the update if you have a jailbroken device and plan to make it stay that way since we don’t know if iOS 4.3.5 somehow manages to block jailbreak utilities. If you have a non-jailbroken device then you should update as soon as possible, how you ask?

1. Connect your device to your Computer.
2. Open iTunes and select your device.
3. Click “Check for updates”.

Cooling

It’s important that you have a good cooler for overclocking, the processor will heat up pretty quick and may even fry itself. I will recommend you to get Cooler Master 212+ as its a fantastic cooler and currently the best bang for the buck.

Accessing Bios and Setting up Overclock

When you are in the BIOS Setting look where the Overclock settings are, I’ll be overclocking through AI Tweaker (Using Asus P7P55 LX) just use the following settings for a steady 4GHz overclock.

AI Tweaker:

Ai overclock tuner = X.M.P

CPU Ratio Setting = 20

Xtreme Phase Full Power Mode = Auto

BCLK Frequency = 200

PCI-E Frequency = 100

DRAM Frequency =  DDR3 1600 mhz

QPI Frequency = ~6407 mhz

CPU Voltage Mode = Manual

Fixed Voltages = 1.38750

Rumours about Sony’s new PlayStation coming-out-of-the-bag soon are widespread, and tongues have been wagging furiously that PS3 has finally topped itself out.

Despite all this, developers like Naughty Dog, and Guerilla Games have continued to squeeze just about enough to produce something better with each game outing, and they are not the only ones confident in PS3’s raw power.

Speaking to PSM3, Team Bondi’s boss Brendan McNamara – the team behind the critically acclaimed L.A Noire – has a few words of praise for the console that still has quite a few hefty punches left.

“I wouldn’t profess to be an expert about either one but I’d say from our point of view with the PS3, we think it’s got – with Naughty Dog’s new game – people just get cleverer and cleverer about it. Like what percentage of the raw power are they using up?

“What you can do on SPUs on PS3 is pretty amazing so we think there’s still a lot of life left in it. We’d certainly still like to do another [game] on it, so…”

L.A Noire utilized Motion-scan to bring their characters to virtual world with class. Let’s see what they can do exclusively with PS3.

One of the things I love about the Macs is the MagSafe charger. My wordspace is very cluttered with wires everywhere and I tend to trip on them quite often. The MagSafe charger attaches to your device magnetically and pulls out with minimal effort, so whenever you trip on them the cord pops out of the charger port instead of dragging your expensive Mac with it. The technology is to be finally coming over the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

In a recent patent acquired by Apple they described the MagSafe technology coming over to the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Apple describes the the new method of charging your iDevice as follows:

Apple has been granted a patent for the assembly of a unit supporting MagSafe into an iOS device like an iPad as noted in patent FIG. 7 below. The patent states that (“In one particular embodiment, the connector may be a power connector such as the MagSafe.”)

The NGP has been rumored numerous times to be delayed. Part of the reason was the recent Japan Earthquake which shock the whole Japan and did a lot of damage to its Economy. Japan is still recovering from this disaster. This was not the only factor which affected Sony, Last month, Playstation Network Security was breached and millions of user account info were stolen. This event just angered the world and the pressure fell on Sony to implement proper measures for security which reportedly costed Sony a lot of money.

Now 1up.com is reporting by quoting 01.net that Sony may downgrade some of the NGP specs in order to fit it in the Holidays 2011 deadline for Japan. The NGP was confirmed for release this holiday in Japan while it will be released for the rest of the world in 2012.

01.net claims that the non-3G models of NGP will be priced similar to the 3DS so that they have a competitive advantage over the 3DS which means we can expect non-3G models to be somewhere between the $250 to $300 range. This could come with a price as the earlier reported 512 MB RAM has been rumored to be cut down to 256 MB in order to compensate with the cost. The 128 MB of graphics memory is still there but Sony is planning to cut the 16 GB of internal flash memory according to this rumor.

Since this is just a rumor, it won’t necessarily be true. We can only hope that Sony manages to keep the NGP reasonably priced. We will keep you updated regarding any news, keep checking us regularly.

Microsoft revealed today at E3 that Minecraft will be coming exclusively to the Xbox 360 with Kinect motion control support. The popular indie game which made its buzz last year will be coming soon to Xbox 360.

It will also feature cross-functionality between the PC version and the Xbox 360. There are no details yet on what type of Kinect support is expected. It will be released this Winter and will most likely be a downloadable release rather then a retail release.

Whenever a new version of iOS there’s always a question arises will the previous versions be able to run it. At the announcement of iOS 5 this question came forward again. It is a fact that the new features and new Operating systems require more resources.Currently the oldest version of iPhone which is in production is 3GS and all 3GS owners should be glad as they would be able to run the new OS. One thing which Apple is very good with is keeping support for it’s earlier models and making the iOS not much resource hungry.

iPhone 3GS will get an update to the new iOS without loosing the new features introduced with an exception to in app Camera editing. 3GS owners will be able to get a taste of the new notification bar and the iCloud services now!  According to our knowledge 3GS has enough resources to even run in app Camera editing.
