How To: Overclock Intel i5 750 to 4Ghz Quick and Stable!

The following guide will show you how to overclock your core i5 750 processor to 4GHz in just a few minutes, check it out after the break.

Cooling

It’s important that you have a good cooler for overclocking, the processor will heat up pretty quick and may even fry itself. I will recommend you to get Cooler Master 212+ as its a fantastic cooler and currently the best bang for the buck.

Accessing Bios and Setting up Overclock

When you are in the BIOS Setting look where the Overclock settings are, I’ll be overclocking through AI Tweaker (Using Asus P7P55 LX) just use the following settings for a steady 4GHz overclock.

AI Tweaker:

Ai overclock tuner = X.M.P

CPU Ratio Setting = 20

Xtreme Phase Full Power Mode = Auto

BCLK Frequency = 200

PCI-E Frequency = 100

DRAM Frequency =  DDR3 1600 mhz

QPI Frequency = ~6407 mhz

CPU Voltage Mode = Manual

Fixed Voltages = 1.38750
