Rumors of White iPhone 5 Begin to Appear!

Let’s just forget about the white iPhone 4 now as rumors are surfing about the white iPhone 5!  White iPhone 5 has been seen in Virgin Rumor field riding a white stallion. Economic Daily reports that iPhone 5 shall feature a touch panel exclusively given by Wintek. If the rumor is true we can expect the iPhone 5 to be released in Summer 2011. We are very curious to know what the next iPhone has to offer. If Apple has to leave Android behind it has to offer something which would surprise and impress everybody. 64oid Makes N64 Games Playable On Android!

Well there hasn’t been any shortage of emulators for the Android platform and now even a N64 emulator is here. The developer Yongzh has other emulators available in the Market too and is currently also working on PSX emulator along with developer ZodTTD which they claim is gonna be faster than the iPhone versions. The 64oid is pretty glitchy currently and slows down even on fast phones like the Nexus S. People who are wondering about the controls can rest assured as you can use bluetooth supported controllers like Wiimote with the emulator. The app is currently available for $5.99 in the Android Market. Check out the video demo after the break.

Guess some people DO read it for the articles, no? The pricing for HP’s main upcoming attractions, the Pre 3 and the TouchPad, has been revealed by the unlikeliest of sources, Playboy magazine. In a feature on new and upcoming technology bits, the magazine giant states the price of the Pre 3 at $200 with contract and the TouchPad at the $500 sweet spot for tablets. These numbers were expected but nothing will be set in stone until HP announces the pricing itself. Guess you can finally convince someone that you subscribe to Playboy only for the exclusive tech info! Head on past the break for another glimpse of the article.

Update: The author of the article has now stated that these prices were merely speculation instead of the actual pricing. False alarm folks.

Sony has officially launched the “Welcome Back” program. All PS3 users will be able to claim the free goodies and games once the Playstation Store relaunches which according to Sony will be soon enough. Both the European Playstation Blog and the USA Playstation blog has posted the press release. Check it out after the break.

For North American Users

All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

1. Dead Nation
2. inFAMOUS
3. LittleBigPlanet
4. Super Stardust HD
5. Wipeout HD + Fury

For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

1. LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
2. ModNation Racers
3. Pursuit Force
4. Killzone Liberation

– A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
– 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
– Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
– Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
– Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
– To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

– We are working on a Welcome Back offer in PlayStation Home and will share that when it is confirmed.

There is an important thing to mention for European users:

1. For eligibility for the welcome back programme consumers must be an account holder on 20 April 2011. Specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live. All existing PSN registrants have 30 days from when the welcome back programme goes live to redeem their content.
2. For the German market, InFamous and Dead Nation will be replace with Super Stardust HD and Hustle Kings in the selection of PS3 games.
3. For the German market, Pursuit Force and Killzone Liberation will be replaced with Everybody’s Golf 2 and Buzz Junior Jungle Party in the selection of PSP games. Killzone Liberation will not offer online gameplay functionality.
4. Access to the 30 days free PS Plus subscription is only available for those countries where PS Plus is offered. You will have access to the PS Plus content planned for May for 30 days. Access to the free games and exclusive features finishes at the end of the 30-day subscription period. Anything you buy with exclusive discounts, dynamic themes and premium avatars are yours to keep forever.

The NEC MEDIAS N-04C which boasts itself as the world’s slimmest phone just got itself a release date. The phone which measures at only 7.7mm and runs on Android 2.2 (Will get a 2.3 update in July) will be released on the 15th of March. The phone is as of yet exclusive only to Japan and it doesn’t look like that it will lose it’s exclusivity anytime soon. The phone has awesome specs like: NFC, 5 megapixel camera1, seg TV Tuner, infrared port and an epic 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 chip. Also the phone’s screen is made of Gorilla glass so it’s pretty sturdy. The phone will be available in Black and White, Pricing hasn’t been announced yet.

Twisted Metal who made it’s debut on Playstation 1 is making it’s first jump to the next generation with it’s release on PS3. David Jaffe, who is also the developer of God of War, is developing this game. David Jaffe also directed Twisted Metal Black and this along with God of War were among “IGN’s Top 25 PS2 Games of All Time”.

In this latest exclusive trailer from Game Trailers, the official date of Twisted Metal was revealed to be 4th October. Check out this awesome action filled trailer. We are eagerly awaiting to get our hands dirty with Sweet Tooth and his foes and allies.
