    It looks like the next issue of the weekly Japanese magazine Famitsu will be a huge one, the magazine is teasing that “The ban on information for that popular title will be lifted.” (via Gematsu).

    Famitsu tends to tease stuff a lot, and more than often the reveals tend out to be underwhelming. Now you may be wondering what this popular title could be, some of the front runners in the speculation race are Final Fantasy Versus XIII and The Last Guardian, both of which have been under development for over half a decade.

    So IBM’s multi-million dollar supercomputer called “Watson” won Jeopardy last night. His final score was $77,147 while his competition Ken Jennings got $24,000 and Brad Rutter did $21,600. IBM announced that Watson will donate his $1 million to charity. So does this mean that the Terminator scenario is soon to happen? IBM’s Watson really is an excellent piece of hardware, All those years of research and millions of dollars invested have led to this day where Watson can proudly say that it has beaten the human race and that too by a great margin. So far were pretty impressed but can Watson prove to be Eco-friendly?

  • The Making Of Halo 4 Trailer Released Along With Release Date

    343 Industries a trailer about the making of Halo 4. The developer diary shows off in game footage of Halo 4 which we’ve all been waiting for since the game was announced back in E3 2011.

    The trailer above shows off two new maps, namely Wraparound and Warhouse. 343 Industries also revealed that the multiplayer maps will be purely original and not recycled from the campaign. It was also revealed that in Halo 4′s multiplayer gamers will play as Spartan IV’s who are the latest breed of Spartan soldiers.

    Halo 4 is due to release sometime in the Holiday season of 2012.

  • #KONY2012 – A Nation Rises

    Technology has again proven to be extremely positive in today’s world. It’s not everyday someone makes a difference of THIS scale and potential. #KONY2012 was the trending topic today, not just on Twitter, on Youtube and Facebook as well. So what is KONY2012? It’s a movement against the ruthless warlord Joesph Kony. Terrorizing for many years in Uganda, this ruthless man is the leader of a group called Lord’s Resistance Army which is mostly comprised of children who are trained to rape and kill. They abduct children and make them into killing machines. I myself had no idea of this evil existence, until I saw KONY2012 everywhere today. It’s on every website, in everybody’s newsfeeds and the video is on the front page of Youtube and has surpassed 9 million views in a day.

    Please watch the video below, this is one of the most interesting yet sad things I’ve ever seen:

    It’s a shock to many when they watch this video for the very first time, that such people reside among us and are shadowed so properly from authorities. Take part in this movement, share the video as much as you can, use #KONY2012 hashtags on Twitter, spread their official page on Facebook. A lot of big Youtubers (Philip Defranco for one) have started spreading the word even further with their huge following.

  • Samsung all set to announce the next Galaxy on May 3

    Samsung has posted a new photo on its Facebook page almost confirming that the next Galaxy S is to be soon unveiled. Samsung is holding an event on May 3rd for which it has already sent invites. This news confirms the previous rumors of a May launch of the Galaxy S III.

  • Sony Reveals Nasne For The PS3, PS Vita, Xperia Play And Other Sony Products

    Sony Japan has revealed the first images for their “Nasne” device which is basically their “networked recorder and media storage device.” produced by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE).

    Nasne comes with a 500GB internal Hard Drive along with inbuilt tuners for “digital terrestrial and satellite broadcast.” Nasne is able to connect natively using dedicated apps with Sony’s extensive hardware library including the Playstation 3, PS Vita, VIAO PC, Sony Tablet and Xperia Play.

    Nasne is expected to hit stores in Japan on the 19th of July retailing for 16,980 yen (or approximately $210.72).

  • God of War: Ascension Trailer And Box Art Released

    Sony revealed a teaser trailer for God of War: Ascension today. This game is not a sequel to God of War III, so it is not God of War IV, as many of you were anticipating. Yes, it’s just another prequel.

    The trailer does not reveal much, but tells us that the game will be about Kratos ‘before rage consumed him’. Which means, this story will probably be set even before the story of Chains of Olympus. It will be about when Kratos had not yet become the Ghost of Sparta. The narration is once again done by Gaia, who did the narration for the previous games as well.

    A time when in spite of the madness that plagued him, Kratos would break his blood oath to an unjust God, A time when he will no longer be bound in blood.

    Amazon.com posted the box art for the game (which is not yet final). Amazon also said “Join Kratos as he seeks freedom, redemption, and the clarity to avenge his family in the most ambitious God of War adventure in the series so far.”

    The link has now been removed from Amazon.

  • DmC: Devil May Cry Gamescom Trailer, Dante Redesigned Again – Trailer And Screenshots Inside

    Ninja Theory’s reboot of the much loved Devil May Cry franchise has been given a very dark response, it was taunted for making Dante an Emo-ish character while in reality he’s on of the most charismatic characters in gaming. After the first “new” Dante didn’t go well with the audience Ninja Theory re-designed him.

    This newer Dante looks a bit buffed and less Emo than the last one. There’s also some concept art at the end of this post. So has Dante moved on from Team Edward to Team Jacob? I have one major complaint among the many smaller ones though, why can’t Ninja Theory improve the frame rate? If a visually impressive game like Bayonetta can run on 60FPS then why not DmC.     Move over Alienware there’s a new bad boy in town. Custom PC maker Origin just released their Eon 17 PC equipped with a massively overclocked 990X. The processor at stock run at 3.46Ghz but Origin has managed to run it at 4.6Ghz which is 200Mhz faster than their previous 980X laptop. We’re still wondering what temps it would run at, Maybe a little LN2 would make it better. The laptop has a 17.3-inch full HD display along with two Nvida GeForce GTX 480m running in SLI and up to 24gb of ram. The Core i7 990X is available from major retailers for around $1,050 and the laptop starts from a smooth $2,499.

    Dead Island, which is going to be released this August on PS3, PC and Xbox 360, is the upcoming melee FPS game from Deep Silver. In this game, players will be trapped in an Island full of zombies and have to survive through this zombie apocalypse. This game seems to take a more serious approach in terms of emotions and story.
