UK electronics retailer Handtec has listed the Google Nexus Prime on it’s website as “coming soon”. Highlight of the listing was the image of the phone which features a beautiful metallic design with an edge-to-edge screen and super thin bezel. No other details like a release date or pricing were revealed.
According to the retailer the Google Nexus Prime will feature a huge 4.6-inch Super AMOLED HD display running at a resolution of 1280 x 720, a 1.5 GHz dual core processor though they haven’t specified which but according to the recent rumors it might be a TI OMAP 4460.
There’s also 1GB of RAM for superior multitasking capabilities, a 5MP camera which can record full 1080p HD video along with a 1MP front facing camera. The standard components like WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS are also present. The Google Nexus Prime will also be the first phone to be powered by Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
