According to Anaylist Ming-Chi Kuo Apple is planning to release iOS 5 GM to assemblers in the last week of September. He claims that the much awaited iPhone 5 went into mass production last August and everything is ready.Â
The GM release also known as the Gold Master release is the build which is most likely to make it in the final product so if it’s released to the iPhone 5 manufacturers by end of September we could have the iPhone 5 in our hands by middle of October.
It’s also claimed that the iPhone 5 will look just like the iPhone 4 and will be mostly of an internal upgrade similar to what the iPhone 3GS was to the iPhone 3G.
