ITI – that’s me. The IT Ignorant. Well not really, if I could put it my way, I mean I can install applications without crashing my windows, (yes I still use windows, too scared to try anything else), I can download software and movies and whatever I need to. I know I’m not supposed to click on YOU HAVE A NEW MESSAGE YOU JUST WON 1000000000000$ (holy freakster they found Salmon’s Treasure).
But one darned important Sunday night while I’m working on my 78th slide on the MS PowerPoint, my CPU says ‘haha – eff you’ and turns off. I restart, reboot, re-kick, re-curse, to no avail. It won’t start. And then I wait for that very important Monday to arrive so I can take my literally heartless CPU to an IT Expert.

So this is quite displeasing, you eventually have to accept that you’re an ITI when your own Personal Computer turns its back on you and you realize rebooting isn’t always gonna work. Unless you try a few random Harry Potter spells on it and restart it maybe for around 26 and a half times (restart midway in the 14th time) it might just lose concentration on its desire to make you suffer and start working! That’s how I manage to find my way out at times.
But from my extended decade old experience on the computer, I’ve learnt a few things.
– I don’t need to install MP3, MP4, .FLV, .amr etc. converters if I have Jet Audio (FTW!!)
– I find Picasa just as handy as adobe photoshop (no maybe I’m too lazy to even try working on photoshop. Anyways)
– Power DVD SUCKS
– Google Chrome is awesome. It even has a surprise feature where you can hide images. (comes in handy when my facebook newsfeed is full of salman khan/Justin beiber/katty perry songs/images/lyrics. So I can hide those, rather lose my breakfast.
– Why do they even HAVE Internet Explorer? -_-
– If I manage to paste a picture on a word document EXACTLY in the right position without it’s pixels damaged and any other text blocked/erased, I deserve an award.
– Windows Movie maker is the most brain-damaging movie maker of all times.
– I could never buy/install Sony Vegas Movie maker and all my videos are made on Windows MM. does that say a lot?
– And MS Office 2007 was the best thing that happened in the history of word documents. RESPECT.
So I don’t have to worry if my CPU turns off before I end this write up here because my very faithfull MS Word will have Autosaved it anyway. Haha eff you CPU.
