  • What do YOU think: Will Macs Finally Overrun PCs In The Near Future?

    Times have changed, the computers we used to know and love have had quite a bit of an insane competition with market giant Apple who released their Apple Mac quite a while back following PC. While Macs have conquered a specific niche in the market, PCs have the upper hand based on the number of users worldwide. But that tide is slowly changing its direction as we speak, Macs are now considered as THE machines for designers and media people worldwide. Youtube has a big hand in bringing about this change, while we all know PCs are awesome for gaming and getting attacked by a plethora of viruses, Macs are well-known for having some of the best video editing software out there today point blank. Final Cut Pro has always been every PC owners’ dream, almost every famous Youtuber uses a Mac for their editing and designing needs.

    Ain’t It Pretty?

    While some PC wiz kids have already gone through the trouble of emulating Final Cut Pro in their machines, it’s still not the same. The only down-side in having a Mac is that is lacks in gaming where PC prevails enormously. “PC Gaming”, as they call it, is synonymous for being even better than the next-gen gaming consoles. Putting the gaming factor aside, Macs are beautiful to look at, insanely smooth and fun to work with, have lesser errors than PCs, have lesser risks of being attacked by viruses and malware and what have you and above all, are every designer’s dream machine.

    As the times change and we see almost everyone bringing their business online, whether they blog or make videos for a living, we are seeing a serious shift in sales. A time will come when Macs will overrule PCs, since the only good product for video editing in PCs is Adobe Premiere or After Effects, both of which are also available on the Mac, PCs really have no upper hand apart from gaming which everyone knows is not a means of making a living.

    Just my opinion, I’ve been a PC user myself for over 14 years now but since my field of expertise lies in designing, I might grab me one of them shiny machines too!

    Along with iOS 5 BETA 6 Apple has also seed iTunes 10.5 BETA 6 which is necessary if you plan to use BETA 6 on your iOS device. Expect the full changelog in a bit.

  • Lil Wayne’s ‘The Carter IV’ Album In Stores

    Lil Wayne’s ninth studio album has been released worldwide toady. It’s the first big project since The Carter III, which was released back in 2008. So we can say it’s been quite some time since Weezy has dropped something truly original. Let’s see if he goes Platinum in the first week or not.

    After the worldwide success of The Carter III, Weezy started working on his group Young Money with fellow artists: Drake, Nicki Minaj and others. They released an album We Are Young Money in 2009, which featured singles such as ‘BedRock’, ‘Every Girl’ and ‘Roger That’. It sold 500,000 copies and was certified Gold by the RIAA. Then he started working on a Rock/Rap album named Rebirth which he released in 2010. He was working on the Rock/Rap project since 2008 and it was going to be something different from his usual-self. Eminem was also featured on the album on the song ‘Drop The World’, which was praised by many critics and peaked at No. 18 on Billboard Hot 100 charts. After that he released another album in 2010 called I Am Not a Human Being, which was first thought to be an EP but was later confirmed as an LP and was released on Weezy’s Birthday. It sold over 900,000 copies, and also featured the song ‘Right Above It’ which peaked at No.6 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

    And now, he’s finally released the next edition to the Carter series. The Carter IV started off with ’6 Foot 7 Foot ft. Cory Gunz’, and after a few weeks he released ‘John ft. Rick Ross’ which was a big hit. ‘How To Love’ was also loved by many people but the real talk these days is ‘She Will ft. Drake’ which is the dopest single from the album yet. An album which features T-Pain, Rick Ross, John Legend, Drake and Bruno Mars on an exclusive track, is worth listening to and is definitely one to get your hands on.

    The Deluxe Edition contains 4 bonus tracks which includes ‘Mirrors ft. Bruno Mars’. And an exclusive release on Target contains three bonus tracks plus two additional exclusive tracks featuring Kevin Rudolf ad Birdman.

  • Firefox 6 Officially Released, Download Links Inside

    Even though Firefox 6 was available for download a couple of day ago before release today is it’s official release date, what does that mean? Enjoy the very full release of Firefox 6 directly from Mozilla.

    As we reported before Firefox 6 doesn’t feature any UI changes except the domain being bolded out in the address bar. Changes under the hood include supported for the latest WebSocket, bug fixes, performance improvements which helps when you have multiple tabs open and a new permissions option which makes it easier to see which information the websites you visit tend to use.   • Villains Not To Mess With, Arkham City Villains Revealed

    Arkham City is the sequel to the highly popular and most probably the first groundbreaking Batman game, Arkham Asylum. The new game will be featured in a huge city and you will also get to play as Catwoman (can’t wait!). The new villains have recently been revealed and I made a little collection of all the villains revealed thus far. Watch all the videos, read more!

    First off, the latest revelation in the supervillains list is Mr. Freeze!



    Pretty slick eh? This demented scientist seems to be untouchable in the game and looks bad-ass!

    Second, we have The Penguin:



    Looks like Penguin’s gonna hide forever behind his huge guards, I can’t wait to kick his butt!

    Third and lastly, The Riddler



    My favorite villain, this guy is gonna make life harder in Arkham City.
