Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play priced at £519.99 on Play.com.

The Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play aka the Playstation Phone can now be Pre-Ordered at Play.com for £519.99. The package includes a black, sim-free, unlocked version of the device which according to the site will be available on Launch Date of March 28.

Another site “02″ also said earlier this week that hat it will be the exclusive UK provider of a white version of the Xperia Play.

Sparkle to release Calibre Variant of Geforce GTX 570 GPU.

Sparkle has announced that they’ll soon be releasing a Calibre version of the Geforce GTX 570 Graphic Card named Calibre X570. The card will come with a Factory Overclock and feature a huge Arctic Cooling Heatsink for better thermal specs.

The Arctic Accelero Xtreme used on the card will feature107 aluminum fins, five heatpipes and three PWN Purple colored fans which are said to lower the card’s temps upto 15C as compared to the reference design. From the looks and size of the heatsink it would easily occupy 3 slots.

The Geforce GTX 570 comes with 480 CUDA Cores, 1280Mb of GDDR5 memory running along a 384-bit wide memory interface. The GPU and shader clocks are maintained at 772 and 1544 MHz while the memory runs at 4212 (3800 MHz stock). The card supports 3-Way Sli support and comes with Dual DVI and a single HDMI port. Sparkle didn’t reveal the availability or pricing of the card yet.

Sequel to Medal of Honor Confirmed.

A sequel to the Last Year’s First Person Shooter “Medal of Honor” has been confirmed and is under way as said by the Executive Producer of EA’s Danger Close Studios “Greg Goodrich”.

“Yes, Danger Close is currently working on the next Medal of Honor,” Goodrich confirmed on the game’s official blog.

The game which was moved and set in modern day Afghanistan from its traditional WWII Setting has sold more than 5 Million Copies Worldwide since its release last October and Goodrich had previously stated that sales in excess of 3 million units would be required before EA would even start to consider the possibility of a sequel.

“As you all know, our goal was to tell the story of today’s soldier and to do so with the utmost respect and reverence,” Goodrich continued. “We’ve received many letters, emails and messages from active servicemen and women from around the world, along with veterans and their families, with appreciation for our recent depiction of their community. I can’t tell you how important this is to everyone here at Danger Close Games. You are the heartbeat of this team and this franchise and we are privileged and honored to tell your story. Medal of Honor has always been fueled by the passion of our fans and the commitment and sacrifice shown by the men and women of our armed services.”

Im really looking forward to this game as the previous one had a amazing storyline but the only thing it lacked were the visuals as it was based on Unreal Engine rather than the previously confirmed DICE (Frostbite) Engine. Let’s hope EA corrects this make in the Sequel.

Motorola Posts Specs For The Wi-Fi, 4G And GSM Xoom

Motorola just revealed the specs and they are pretty straight forward. None of them have WAN, Each of the have Wi-Fi and an option between GPRS/HSPDA, EVDO and Wi-Fi only. So it’s $600 for the Wi-Fi only, $670 for 3g and $799 for the 4G Xoom on Verizon. Apart from that the different versions of the Xoom have absolutely no difference at all. So officially the device will have 2 color choices available: black and silver. The Android 3.0 Honeycomb Tegra 2 powered device was released in the US on 17th of February and IS to be released in Europe in Q2 (Around in June maybe).

LG Optimus Pad Would Costs €999 In Germany

The LG Optimus Pad also knows as the G-Slate just got a confirmed price (well at least in Germany anyway). It’s gonna cost a smooth €999 including 19% VAT which is $1,350 if you include tax and $1,075 if you don’t. For your convenience the Optimus Pad’s direct competition the Motorola Xoom costs $1,199 if you pre-order it. We were hoping that the Android Honeycomb slate powered by the the dual core Tegra processor would be a bit cheaper. Looks like everything these days is getting more and more expensive. We could only wonder how much the iPad too would cost, A bit lesser than an arm would be nice.

Samsung Galaxy S II And Tab II Announced For MWC

Information about the Samsung Galaxy S II and Tab were just leaked from some Samsung internal documents were just leaked. The Galaxy II will sport a 4.3-inch, 800 x 480 Super AMOLED+ display powered by a 1 Ghz dual core processor, Bluetooth 3.0, 24 mbps HSPA+ connectivity and NFC. The device will measure at 8.49mm at it’s thinnest point and 9.9mm at it’s thickest.

The Galaxy Tab II will be arriving with a 10.1 inch display and Android Honeycomb as it’s OS. The Tab II will be a Google Experience Device like the Motorola Xoom which means Samsung can’t force their own themes onto the Android 3.0 UI. The screen will be running at 1280×800 resolution while the CPU speed will be at 1 Ghz. The devices will probably have memory sizes of 16gb / 32gb / 64gb.

HTC Senstation Now Up For Pre-Order At Vodafone, Delivery Promised By 19th May

Now after Samsung and Motorola have released their beasts in the UK it’s time to HTC to release it’s first dual core phone in the market. You can now pre-order the HTC Sensation on Vodafone’s website where they promise delivery by 19th May.

The phone comes packed with a 4.3-inch qHD display, dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, 8-megapixel camera with HD video recording and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense UI 3.0 which means on release it will most probably the only phone that could compete with the monster known as the Samsung Galaxy S II.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations second Teaser Revealed

Ever since the Assassin’s Creed Revelations leak on Facebook fans have been longing to find more about it. There has been no confirmation of the platform or release date. Just now Ubisoft released another teaser trailer to make fans anticipate the game even more. The 11 second teaser shows a hand of someone, probably Altair and a Greek artifact hinting towards a setting in Ancient Greece.

Just like the previous trailer the Arabic words are seen revolving which some say mention the name of Altair. The background in the trailer has some kind of castle or ruin. The disk which is shown in the teaser is believed to be the famous Cretan Phaistos Disk. The trailer leaves us in a confused state as the castle hints towards the original setting of the first game in the series the Crusade Wars in Middle East but the Greek artifact hints towards the Greece. Who knows we might get to assassinate Greek Gods or Kratos in this game! Stay tuned as we bring you more as soon as we receive more information on this game. Check the teaser trailer after the jump.

X-Men First Class New Trailer

A new trailer for the highly awaited X-Men reboot has just been released by MARVEL on their official Youtube channel. The movie tells us the tale of the very first X-Men squad when Professor Xavier and Erik Lensherr (Magneto) were young and they traveled across the country looking for other mutants to their cause. Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time.
