Sony Mobile Japan announced two new smartphones today – The Xperia GX and SX. The Xperia GX previously codenamed ‘Mint’ will be the LTE version of long awaited Sony LT29i ‘Hayabusa’ smartphone according to XperiaBlog.

Sony’s newest flagship, the Xperia GX will have a 4.6-inch 720p display (probably of an LCD variant), 1.5-Ghz dual core which we’re betting will be the Snapdragon S4, 16GB of on-board memory, HDMI connectivity, 13MP Exmor camera with full 1080p video recording and LTE.

The Xperia GX will be running Android 4.0 out of the box with Sony’s propriety skin on top and will be available in both Black and White. Both the Xperia GX and SX will hit stores this Summer and will be available internationally sometime after.
