The Peacekeeper will be added into the game via an upcoming patch allowing all players to pick up the weapon in custom and public matches but you will only be able to put the gun in your loadout if you have purchased the DLC pack making the system very similar to Battlefield 3. Also to get the Diamond camo for the Peacekeeper SMG all you need to do is get it to Gold after you have completed all of the camo challenges for the other SMGs. We still don’t know at what level or how the gun will be unlocked in Multiplayer or if it will be available in Zombies, guess we’ll find out in a few days.
The Assault Rifle SMG hybrid gun called the Peacekeeper is the first DLC weapon to be implemented in a Call of Duty game and will be available as an added bonus with the Revolution DLC Pack in Black Ops 2. The Revolution DLC pack hits Xbox Live on the 29th of January for 1200MSP and Wii U, PS3 and PC sometime after.
The good folks over at CharlieIntel have received a new promo image of the rumored first Black Ops 2 DLC pack we reported on a few days ago. The DLC pack titled ‘Revolution’ is set to contain 4 Multiplayer maps and one Zombies map. The image is below:
The mobile Call of Duty website also accidentally made the ‘Revolution DLC Pack Preview’ live, the mention of the DLC pack has now been removed.
These leaks pretty much confirm the existence of the Black Ops 2 ‘Revolution’ map pack. As mentioned earlier the DLC pack will probably arrive on the Xbox 360 first on the 29th of January followed by the PS3 and PC although we’re not sure about the Wii U situation. Prices should be the same as the previous COD’s map packs at $15 or 1200MSP.

Activision just announced through their Twitter that the previously collector’s edition bonus only map Nuketown Zombies will be coming out for Black Ops 2 on the PS3 and PC next week.
The Nuketown Zombies map was previously exclusive to players who purchased either the Hardened or Care Pack editions of Black Ops 2 but was later released for the Xbox 360 last month. Just like any other map, you’ll be able to purchase it separately or along with all other Black Ops 2 DLCs via the Call of Duty Season Pass.
The Season Pass introduced with Modern Warfare 3 allows you to purchase all of the year’s Call of Duty DLC content for $10 than it would to purchase separately ($50 compared to $60). Nuketown Zombies will arrive on the PS3 and PC on the 17th of January.
Treyarch also recently confirmed the Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC Pack which includes 4 brand new Multiplayer maps, a Zombies map, a brand new Zombies game mode along with the Peacekeeper SMG.
The long awaited Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC Pack was leaked various times in the past few weeks but Treyarch have finally come forth and confirmed the DLC for a 29th January release on the Xbox 360.
Along with the official announcement; Treyarch staff members David Vonderhaar, Dan Bunting and Reza Elghazi sat down and narrated fans through the new and exciting stuff in the DLC pack. Check the video below:
The Revolution DLC Pack includes 4 Multiplayer maps, a Zombies Map, a new Zombies game mode called Turned and the Peacekeeper SMG.
The Multiplayer maps are Hydro which takes place at a Dam in Pakistan, Grind taking place at a Skatepark in California, Downhill taking place in the snow filled French Alps and finally Mirage taking place at a resort in China.
The Zombies map is Die Rise which is really special as the map will include lots of vertical gameplay. Die Rise will take place inside a crumbling Skyscraper and to survive the Zombie onslaught you’ll need to be always on the movie and gain the altitude advantage. Check the gameplay in the video above, its pretty neat!
The new Zombies mode is called ‘Turned’, and as the name suggests you can finally, for the first time in Black Ops Zombies turn into an actual Zombie and hunt survivors. The aim of the mode is to survive and not get ‘Turned’, if you do get turned you can attack one of the survivors and you’re successful you’ll revive again as a normal human.
Lastly, as a bonus for players who buy the Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC Pack is the Peacekeeper SMG. The Peacekeeper is a Assault Rifle and SMG hybrid which is the first DLC weapon in any Call of Duty game.
As mentioned above the Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC Pack will be arriving on the Xbox 360 on the 29th of January and will be released sometime after on the PS3 and PC, no word on the Wii U version yet but they should get it too. The price will be 1200MSP on the Xbox 360 or $15 on PC and the PS3.

Capcom is at it again! Despite having just recently apologized for their on Disc DLC and other shady practices Capcom has revealed three new Multiplayer modes for their upcoming highly Anticipated action horror game Resident Evil 6. These modes will be timed exclusives for the Xbox 360.
The three new modes revealed are called “Survivors Mode”, “Predator Mode” and “Siege Mode” and their official descriptions are as follows:
Survivors Mode takes the classic solo- and team-based versus mode and adds a twist. Get killed and you respawn as an enemy character with the ability to attack the human characters. Take down two human characters to resurrect in human form. Last man or team standing wins.
In Predator Mode, one player takes on the role of the Ustanak, the fearsome B.O.W. that stalks Jake Muller throughout his campaign, and tries to eliminate the human players. The humans’ task: stop the deadly B.O.W. in its tracks, or at least survive until the end of the session.
Choosing the human side in Siege Mode will see players protecting a single NPC, while as a member of the enemy team, players will need to eliminate that same NPC. If the NPC is still alive at the end of the time period, the human team win.
Each Mode can be played by up to 6 players and will be played on Mercenary mode Maps. The company has not announced the prices or any specific release dates for the DLC as of yet but they will arrive on the Xbox 360 first and for the PS3 and PC sometime later on. Expect the prices to be rather high. Capcom also said that they will release more maps and other content for the game as well.
