  • This Newest Addition To The Mortal Kombat Character Roster Will Give You Nightmares

Freddy Krueger is the newest addition to Mortal Kombat character roster. In case you didn’t knew about him, he is the famous villian of “A Nightmare On Elm Street” film series.

This DLC which is scheduled for release on 9th August will bring this iconic classic character to the Mortal Kombat universe. So far, we have about 3 new characters released as DLC in Mortal Kombat. These include, Kenshi, Rain and Skarlet. Freddy Krueger will be the fourth addition and will use his awesome skills for terrorizing the Mortal Kombat universe.

The introductory video shown below can tell us how he will fare with the fighting in the game. His moves look good and the fatalities are cool especially one of them pays homage to the original “A Nightmare on Elm Street” movie which also had a character die in a similar (not the exact) way.

His character model is quite true to his appearance with burns clearly visible on his face. He seems to pack some serious punch with his trademark claws which are almost similar to Wolverine. I guess now that we have got Freddy Krueger, Jason, who is also a famous fan favorite villain of “Friday The 13th” should also be added so that we can enjoy some Freddy Vs Jason fun just like in the movie.

  • Fallout New Vegas DLC Lonesome Road Delayed, First Screenshot Revealed

Sad news for all New Vegas fans today, it seems that the last DLC for the post Apocalyptic Epic has been delayed with no proper release date. It was previously set to release this month.

Senior Producer Jason Bergman had the following to say:

“We just wanted to drop in here and let you know that due to circumstances beyond our control, Lonesome Road won’t be out this month. This isn’t due to any major issue with the code or content, but there are lots of factors involved in releasing these things, and one of those is causing us to slip past our intended release date.

We don’t have an exact date yet, but we’re working to get it out as quickly as possible. We’ll be announcing the final date, along with a couple of other interesting FNV-related items in the near future.”

Bethesda also release the first screenshot for the game which you can see above (click to enlarge).

In lieu of the recent Assassin’s Creed 3 news, Ubisoft just released info on their new DLC for Revelations to spice up the mix. The DLC is titled “Lost Archives” and it will be a continuation to the single-player story rather than adding to the multiplayer elements.

GameStop has the exclusive pre-orders for this right now and you can order yours there. The DLC is coming out to enhance the release and anticipation of AC 3. Fans are already way over their imaginations speculating the story and timeline of AC 3.

The Lost Archives will be available on February 28th on both consoles.

  • More DLC Scheduled For Red Dead Redemption (Rumor)

Red Dead Redemption was a game of the year contender when it was released last year. It received several DLC mainly for it’s multiplayer mode as well as a whole new side story “Undead Nightmare” which featured new settings and enemies within the Red Dead universe featuring Zombies. Now it is being rumored according to Rockstar’s official twitter that more DLC is being planned for Red Dead Redemption.

Rockstar said at the beginning of this month that a new “FREE DLC” could be provided for all the Red Dead players as a way for appreciating their support. This FREE DLC could include new fan-favorite multiplayer characters.

Rockstar has yet to confirm this rumor which came into light when recently a user asked about any upcoming Red Dead DLC. Rockstar has however confirmed that a quad XP weekend for Red Dead Redemption multiplayer mode will begin tomorrow until 4th July.
