Siri Ported Over To The iPhone 4 Successfully, iPhone 4S Quietly Cries In The Corner

Remember Siri, the new virtual assistant exclusive to the iPhone 4S? Well it’s not so exclusive anymore and has been kinda ported over to the iPhone 4 thanks to an iOS developer by the name of Steven Troughton-Smith with help from 9to5Mac.

The port as expected still needs a lot of work as the app faces sluggish performance and a few bugs. The voice files aren’t even sent to Apple’s servers like they are suppose to.

Developer Steven Troughton-Smith has been working with 9to5Mac exclusively to port the iPhone 4S Siri voice command system to the iPhone 4. Troughton-Smith was able to get the beginning steps of a full port rolling after installing the iPhone 4S Siri and Springboard files onto an iPhone 4. As you can see in the video, Siri’s interface loads up with all the features from the iPhone 4S implementation.
