  • Final Fantasy X For The PS3 And PS Vita Will Be A Proper Remake

Interesting news coming in Spanish site PSTime, the site claims that the Final Fantasy “HD Remake” announced at TGS a few days ago will be a proper remake instead of just being ported over to both the PS3 and PS Vita.

The site claims that the Final Fantasy X HD remake will be made from scratch with Final Fantasy XIII’s Crystal Tools engine along with lighting and similar effects being done with the help of the new Luminous engine developed for Final Fantasy Versus XIII. The highly popular Blitzball minigame will also undergo some changes which probably won’t change core game mechanics. The Final Fantasy X remake will also have an online mode but no details regarding it are known so we’ll just have to speculate for now. The game is rumored to hit Japanese shelves sometime in 2012.

  • Ice T Disses Ross and Wayne

Ice T, in a recent interview with Vh1, took shots at Rick Ross and Lil Wayne. Talking about the gangster life and rapping about it, he said a few things about Rick.

    He said,

“Rick Ross stole a n*gga’s name. I call him ‘Identity Crisis.’ He thinks he’s [Freeway] Rick Ross, he thinks he’s Larry Hoover, he thinks he’s Big Meech, he thinks he’s MC Hammer, he thinks he’s Tupac. Like, who the f*ck are you really, dude?” adding that, ““When we rapped about dope— me, Snoop and everybody—it was like we doin’ it because we GOT to. Now these n*gga’s is actin’ like it’s somethin’ that’s FUN. It’s so easy to fantasize about it. To actively do it? That’s a whole ‘nother f*ckin’ thing.”

Then he talks about the youth these days,

“You can tell kids these days any motherf*ckin’ thing and they’ll believe it. There’s not a code of accountability in hip hop. When I came out, if you said it, you HAD to be about it. n*ggas would check you really quickly.”

Then he talked about Pop music and Hip-Hop turning into Pop, talking about Weezy,

“When you hear Lil Wayne sayin’ ‘I got a chopper in the car,’ you go, ‘Yeah, right you do.” As Ice-T calls it it’s, “no longer rap. It’s pop music, pop using rap delivery”.

I totally agree with what he said about Hip-Hop these days. It’s all about Money, Hoes, Swag and all that. The true Hip-Hop is fading away is not getting the airplay it deserves. Let us know what you think of his statements regarding Hip-Hop artists today in the comments section below.

  • The Lion King 3D

One of everyone’s favorite Disney movie is coming out in a newly revised 3D version. The Lion King was released more than a decade ago, it was a big part of my childhood. We obviously saw it in VHS in our old fashioned players, but now old-time fans can enjoy its entirety on bluray!

The Lion King 3D isn’t a complete remake of the original from scratch. The movie isn’t remade entirely in 3D, it just has a few details added. They don’t really have that “pop” effect but it’s an improvement. The new version is coming out on bluray on October 4th,2011. Be sure to grab your copy, bring back old memories.

  • Scott Storch Working on a New Project

Scott Storch, the New York born record producer, is one of the best producers out there. Everyone is familiar with his arabian-vibe beats which changed the music industry back in early and mid-2000s. He has collaborated with Dre on his song Still D.R.E and his most successful production was Lean Back, a track which was also featured in the game Need for Speed: Underground 2.

He’s the mastermind behind the worldwide hits like ‘Naughty Girl‘ by Beyoncé, ‘Candy Shop‘, ‘Just A Lil Bit‘ by 50 Cent, etc. Although he hasn’t been producing much songs these days, which ultimately means he’s working on some sort of a project of his own. With all the producers releasing their own albums these days featuring a wide range of artists, maybe Scott made up his mind to make one of his own. He stated in a recent interview that he is indeed working on an album with a few artists. Let’s see if he beats other producers like DJ Khaled or Timbaland in this regard.

Let us know what do you expect of Storch’s upcoming album in the comments section below.

  • Chris Brown Returns With a BANG!

After a few hard years, Chris Brown has returned to the stage of the VMAs and gave everything to his outstanding performance this year. He was nominated in only two categories for his hit single ‘Look At Me Now’. Although he didn’t win any award but at least he was nominated and that was a huge thing for him as he was absent for a last few years since the Rihanna-beating incident.

He performed to a medley of songs including ‘Yeah 3x‘ and ‘Beautiful People‘. He also danced to Nirvana. After doing a great job at dancing he did some spectacular aerial work which made it one show stopping performance. Kanye West, Justin Bieber and a few others really enjoyed the performance.

You can watch the performance here, because the video has been removed due to copyright issues from YouTube and other sites.

Let us know what you think about Breezy’s performance at the VMAs this year in the comments section below.
