Sony will add four games to PlayStation Plus on September 1, giving subscribers until October 5, 2026, to claim the new selection. The September set includes Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes.
Sony revealed the lineup on a Wednesday, according to reports from Polygon and GameSpot. The releases cover stealth action, baseball simulation, cooperative sandbox play and role-playing, with compatibility split between PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
The September selection spans PS4 and PS5
Sniper Elite: Resistance will be offered for both PS5 and PS4. The stealth-action title joins Wobbly Life, another cross-generation inclusion that supports solo sessions as well as cooperative play.

MLB The Show 26 is the only entry listed solely for PS5. Chained Echoes is listed for PS4 and brings a different pace to the monthly offer: it is a single-player JRPG set on the fictional continent of Valandis.
A wider genre mix gives the offer broader appeal
The four-title package gives subscribers several distinct ways to use the service during the claim window. Baseball fans get Sony’s annual simulation, while Wobbly Life can suit shared sessions and Chained Echoes offers a longer single-player role-playing experience. Sniper Elite: Resistance rounds out the group with a stealth-focused action option.
Platform coverage matters here because PS4 owners have three listed choices, while PS5 owners have access to three different releases. The overlap through Sniper Elite: Resistance and Wobbly Life also gives households using either console generation two common selections.
Sony did not provide the specific Wednesday on which it announced the September lineup. The company also has not said whether the selection will vary by region or clarified whether subscribers keep access to claimed titles after the October 5 deadline.
