How To: Enable Login In Facebook iPad App Using FaceForward Jailbreak Tweak

Facebook yesterday blocked all logins from their hidden iPad app which they accidentally (or purposely) let on the App Store along with the latest update to the normal Facebook. The Jailbreak community has managed to re-enable the logins using a free tweak called FaceForward now available on Cydia.

The tweak called FaceForward is developed by chpwn who had the following to say:

Re-enable Facebook’s iPad app. Facebook recently accidentally released their iPad app, but after TechCrunch posted about it, they quickly moved to disable access to Facebook from it. FaceForward removes that restriction, allowing you to use Facebook for iPad right now.

Use the following guide to use FaceForward to enable Facebook logins in the leaked iPad Facebook app below:

  1. Download and install the 3.4.4 build of the Facebook app.
  2. Open up Cydia and install FaceForward which is available under the BigBoss repository.
  3. After it’s installed tap on restart Springboard.
  4. Launch the Facebook app and login.

And that’s it!
